I am an avid gardener, and a laborious landscape design professional.  My favorite plants are the ones with interesting historical stories.  As an anthropology major at Austin Community College and Baylor University, I learned how important plants were to people around the world, and for a variety of reasons.

In my garden, I like to collect herbs, vegetables, and a range of exotic food-bearing botanical species from around the world.   I also marvel at collections of salvias and nightshades, and I’m always on the lookout for rare plants native to the Mesoamerican region.  Many years of gardening trials, rewards, and failures compelled me to put together a business that focuses on botanical solutions to everyday problems.  The end result is Plant Fix.

  1. “Plant Fix,” cool name!

So much of this world is broken and plants could so easily be such an easy remedy. But instead human hubris is trying to bring glory to itself by “inventing” (then patenting) things the plant world already contains.
